Gorgeous Three-Piece Patinated Spelter and Verde Antico Marble, 19th Century ( 1800s)!!
(1800s), the enamel dial time and strike drum clock by Vincenti & Cie., surmounted with a patinated spelter figure of “L’Inspiration,” by Theophile Somme, the shaped base with gilt spelter mounts, together with a pair of matching garnitures of putti holding jars on like bases, Clock- H.- 21 in., W.- 10 1/4 in., D.- 6 1/2 in.
Note- Wear and imperfections from age and use. Chip to marble as pictured. Out string bends in slightly. Runs and chimes at intervals, I did not listen to see if the number of chimes match the hour. It ran for about 8 hours until I stopped it.
