French Empire style mahogany daybed, late 19th c., gilt metal mounts of winged griffins and flaming torches entwined by two serpents (caduceus), cushioned seat, two bolster pillows, rising on block feet, approx. 36.25″h, 79″w, 34″d.
Condition: Wear and imperfections from age, use, and movement, small black mark on cushion. Slight separation at corners.
